I've always been a storyteller — but I resisted it for decades. A year at Tulane's School of Architecture taught me that my instinct was never for structures, but for the people inside them — and what powerful structures I could build from words. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, where English, Theatre Arts, and Comparative Literature finally felt like home, I headed to Los Angeles. As a performer, I tried on so many creative skins that multiple perspectives became ingrained in me. When I finally translated those voices onto the page — pilots, features, musicals, stage plays, and picture books — I recognized what I'd been doing all along: designing stories for people to step inside.

"You do a fantastic job of writing for the genre — the quick, pithy, and witty lines that pepper the pages are engaging and compelling while still continuing to move the story forward… I was fully immersed in your world." — BlueCat Screenplay Awards
"The script does a good job of generating intrigue and interest in its world… Just enough info is given to not be confusing but still remaining largely mysterious." — Screencraft
"It's a great story that has us hooked. We liked the variety of the characters and the way they speak and operate… We really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work." — Barnstorm Screenplay Festival
"It's hard to get ahead when G.O.D. is watching."
A bioelectric genius obsessed with Nikola Tesla attempts to bring free energy to the world — but an equally smart collective of elites, using the electromagnetic grid as a means of social control, is covertly tracking his every move with deadly intentions.
Desperate to get his life back on track, a recovering alcoholic does something even he considers crazy — follows the guidance of his talking cat. But when the cat turns out to be evil, Vince teams up with a sexy fire investigator and a shy gay neighbor to stop his scheming cat from taking over the world with her feral army.
A man stranded at a dark bus stop asks a stranger for help. The stranger is pleasant enough — even generous with passing vagrants. But his overly crisp Boy Scout uniform and quiet tally of the flies he's killing suggest something darker. The more these two talk, the more apparent it becomes that something is deeply, deeply wrong. A meditation on chance encounters, and the enlightenment they can bring.

"What I love most about all your stories is that you have such a heart for the underdog and for characters finding their way to their better selves." — Virginia Neal, Children's Lit Author
Virginia's words brought a happy tear to my eye — because that heart for the underdog is absolutely my intention. We live in a world full of uncertainty, unnecessary biases, and dream-squashing realities. But we also live in a world of opportunity, variety, and even moments of magic. Whether it's a lyrical narrative or a romping, rhyming read-aloud, it should be so fun kids can't put it down — and when they finally do, leave them feeling a little braver than before.
